1980 - Opens first convenience store in Greeneville, TN under the banner Roadrunner Markets.

1996 - Offers Check Cashing at location in Johnson City,TN

2001 – Offers Western Union Money Transfers

2004 – Roadrunner Markets among the first convenience stores to be approved to sell TN Lottery tickets on startup date.

2005 (July) – Breaks ground on new corporate office located at 282 Christian Church Road, Johnson City TN

2006 - Introduces the best coffee in the world, "Java Lane"

2006 - Operates 51 locations in three states: TN, NC and VA.

2006 (January) – Begins scanning items at register

2007 - Declares "We are committed to providing customers with convenient locations, customer service and quality fuels."

2007 (April) - Overhears a Sales Associate say, "This is a great place to work."

2009 (May) - Proud to begin offering Sunoco Fuels

2009 (Dec) - Begin partnership with Dunkin Donuts

2010 (March) - Opens 92nd location!
